we are so thankful that the transmission is fine and we are back on the road! i guess the very hot temperatures did a number on the transmission fluid and it "puked" (not my term). so we are refilled with fluid and it is at the right level and should be good. the transmission checked out ok but is still acting a little funky so continue praying that our old ride will take us as far as the Lord wants us to go.
after 6 or so hours driving today (we left kingman at 4) we are just about back on schedule. it's only 5+ hours to lubbock from here (not counting eating bbq at rudy's in amarillo).
now i will attempt to post some pictures....it's been 2 years since i did this so stand by!
