yes it's that time again! we are packing up the good ol' explorer and heading out on the highway. (if you feel like praying, the good ol' explorer has 175,ooo+ miles on it now so you can pray that we can squeeze out a few thousand more!)
we will try to update as often as we can...and this year we have internet connection while we are driving so you better set aside some time each day to read about our every move, thought, picture, potty stop, meal, first aid rendered (you know it will happen!) state line crossed, etc. etc. etc.
so here's a list you can join us in prayer for:
+lauren and the boys driving on their own to texas
+our time with jim and his two new foster boys (we can't wait to meet them!!!)
+our visit with kevin toqe in mississippi. we want to be a blessing to him in his new ministry.
+that we don't get picked up by a tornado, or swept away by a hurricane, or covered in oil while enjoying the beaches, or flooded out, or whatever the disaster de jour may be! (we'll take earthquakes over all that any day)
+that we have everything we will need in our first aid kit! (those of you who know us will know why) and that we can be a blessing to those who may need our services along the highway.
that's about it! the boys and lauren leave on june 7th and start the month long drive. we will have updates starting about then.
